West End star Ramin Karimloo to release live DVD ahead of London concert

West End and Broadway star and musical innovator Ramin Karimloo’s acclaimed group Ramin & The Broadgrass Band will release their first ever live DVD, The Road To Find Out, via the Westway Music label on 26 November.

This beautiful and intimate show, originally staged as a live stream concert at The Clapham Grand after lockdown rules were relaxed in December 2020, captures Ramin & The Broadgrass Band performing a intimate fifteen-song set of classic musical theatre songs, including ‘Bring Him Home’ and ‘Empty Chairs at Empty Tables’ from Les Miserables and ‘Music of the Night’ from The Phantom of the Opera.

As his band’s name suggests, Ramin performs the songs in the unique and rootsy style he has developed over the past decade called Broadgrass; breathing some bluegrass into Broadway and bringing some drama into Bluegrass.

The Road To Find Out also includes a guest appearance from fellow West End star Hadley Fraser, while festive favourites ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’, ‘Silent Night’ and ‘Oh Come All Ye Faithful’ serve as the DVD’s three bonus tracks.

The DVD release precedes Ramin & The Broadgrass Band performing a very special one-off show at London’s Eventim Apollo on 15 December.

Billed as An Evening with Ramin Karimloo & The Broadgrass Band, the Iranian-born Canadian singer and performer will deliver his reinterpretations of musical theatre hits, folk favourites and some of Ramin’s original songs all under the style he has made his own.

Karimloo said: “I can’t wait to return to London to perform these songs with The Broadgrass Band at Hammersmith’s legendary Eventim Apollo this December. We’ll be pulling out all the hits for what I promise to be a celebratory evening that’s been a long time coming.”

Tickets for An Evening with Ramin Karimloo & The Broadgrass Band are available here.
