West End star Emma Hatton launches Dear Music podcast

Emma Hatton

West End star Emma Hatton is releasing the first episode of her brand new podcast, Dear Music, today.

As an ambassador of music charity Nordoff Robbins, Hatton invites special guests to write their own love letter to music, forming a discussion about the enduring impact music has on their lives; the first guest being Mario Jose, with whom Hatton toured as part of Post Modern Jukebox.

Hatton said: "Dear Music has been years in the making. To me, music is the most powerful form of expression we have - it touches us all from the moment we arrive on this earth to our departing day. It moves and inspires, reflecting our moods and emotions in the most extraordinary way. Nothing else comes close.

New episodes will be released fortnightly but you can also listen to Hatton covering for Ruthie Henshall on Magic of the Musicals for Magic FM from this Saturday.
