Wendi Peters to star in premiere of new musical YOU ARE HERE at Southwark Playhouse

Neil Bartram and Brian Hill’s new musical, You Are Here, will premiere at the Southwark Playhouse from 29 April-22 May.

The piece will play live to socially distanced audiences (pending government restrictions) or alternatively, it will be available via livestream.

July 20, 1969. On the night of the moon landing, Chicago housewife Diana walks out of her comfortable suburban life for no real reason. She sees the astronauts taking that great step and is struck by the realisation that some people lead exciting lives. Suddenly alone in a fast-changing world, she finds a series of unexpected encounters can turn one small step into a giant, life-changing leap.

Wendi Peters has been confirmed to star as Diana, with further casting to be announced.

You Are Here will be directed by Matthew Rankcom, with design by Libby Todd, lighting by Jai Morjaria, sound by Charles Parry and musical direction by Laura Bangay.
