Urdang Academy graduate Ivano Turco has landed a leading role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella.

Turco, who was due to perform in the Royal Exchange’s production of West Side Story before the pandemic struck, will make his West End debut as Prince Sebastian, alongside the previously announced Carrie Hope Fletcher as Cinderella and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the Stepmother.

Along with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the new musical adaptation features lyrics by David Zippel and a book by Emerald Fennell. It will be directed by Laurence Connor, with choreography by JoAnn Hunter.

Cinderella is scheduled to open at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in Spring 2021.
