It has been announced that the Underbelly Festival will return to London this summer, in a new location near to Oxford Circus.

The festival featuring cabaret, circus, family entertainment and circus normally sets up home on the South Bank with a food festival taking its place last year. The entertainment and events company Underbelly has now announced plans to return to a full programme of live entertainment at a pop-up venue in Cavendish Square.

The company hopes to run the Underbelly Festival every day from 1 July to 26 September in the temporary spiegeltent. At full capacity, it will be able to seat 500 but the organisers have stated that the venue can be adapted to allow for social distancing with a capacity of 285. The programme, which will be announced next month, features shows that will run at an hour long without an interval.
