UNDERBELLY FESTIVAL announces line-up at new London location
Underbelly Festival has moved its programme to a new home this year, now running in Cavendish Square in central London until 26 September.
European cabaret show Bernie Dieter’s Berlin Underground has been announced as the headliner for the event and will transform the spiegeltent into a cabaret club, from 28 July to 29 August.
The programme begins on 1 July and will include Frisky and Mannish’s Pop Lab, The Sickening 90s Drag Prom from TuckShop, circus show Hotel Paradiso and Funny Gals, a collaboration between West End performer Natasha Barnes and lyricist Vikki Stone.
There will also be a comedy line-up with Zoe Lyons, Daliso Chaponda, Goodbear and duo Harry and Chris taking to the stage to entertain. There will also be live podcasts: Nobody Panic, Drunk Women Solving Crime and Hoovering.
There will be something for everyone with family programming featuring On the Road Show from CBBC’s Sam and Mark, along with an improvised performance from musical troupe The Showstoppers. There will also be a host of outdoor bars and street-food stalls.
