UK tour of SIX the Musical postponed
The producers of SIX the Musical released a statement yesterday afternoon to announce the postponement of its UK tour, due to the current lockdown restrictions.
The statement said: "Following the Government's new national lockdown measures which have forced the closure of our theatres, we are extremely disappointed to confirm the touring production of SIX can no longer open this month as planned. All performances scheduled for January and February 2021 have been cancelled: at The Lowry, Salford (Jan/Feb), Mayflower Theatre, Southampton (Jan) and Theatre Royal Plymouth (Feb)."
Affected ticket holders will be contacted directly by their point of sale.
The producers have said, however, that performances have been rescheduled at the venues mentioned above with the hit musical returning to The Lowry for a Christmas 2021 run. Tickets will be on sale for the Salford leg on 15 January here.
