UK premiere of SOMETHING ROTTEN! postponed

Something Rotten!

Birmingham Rep have announced that the UK premiere of Something Rotten! has sadly been postponed.

Due to be directed by Artistic Director Sean Foley, the hit musical was originally scheduled to open at the venue in October 2020 but the pandemic meant it was postponed by 12 months until October 2021. However, this too has been postponed due to the continuing challenges of Covid-19, with its large cast and international travel required.

Birmingham Rep said in a statement: “We are working hard to confirm new performance dates and times for this show and we will be in touch with ticket options soon…”

The musical comedy has a book by John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick, with music and lyrics by Karey & Wayne Kirkpatrick.
