Trevor Nunn to direct Happy Days revival at Riverside Studios starring Lisa Dwan

Trevor Nunn, known for his work as artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre, has announced a new production. Nunn will direct Lisa Dwan in a 60th anniversary production of Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days

Lisa Dwan will star as Winnie in the play, which will be running at the Riverside Studios, London from 16 February - 28 March 2021. 

This pair previously collaborated together on Beckett’s Eh Joe at Jermyn Street Theatre earlier this year. Happy Days will be produced by Anthology Theatre in association with Riverside Studios and it will be staged adhering to social distancing guidelines to ensure the safety of the creative team and their audiences. 

Happy Days will be the first production from the recently relaunched Anthology Theatre Productions, which previously focused on investing in other shows and acting as a co-producer. You can find out more about their work by visiting their website.
