We Will Rock You - London Coliseum

Are there any fathers who don’t love Queen? It’s practically in the job description, so it’s great timing that this jukebox musical has just reopened for a limited 12-week season! It’s already been seen by 20 million people worldwide but this is the first time that writer and director Ben Elton will also be starring. Guys & Dolls - Bridge Theatre

It’s the revival that everyone’s talking about! This musical about gangsters, conmen, missionaries and showgirls premiered on Broadway back in 1950, and is filled with iconic songs like ‘Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat’ and ‘Luck Be A Lady’. The current immersive revival gives you the option to purchase seated tickets or opt for standing ones, which put you right in the centre of the action and allow you to follow the cast around the stage!

The Choir of Man - Arts Theatre

Set in a traditional pub, The Choir of Man is a short, super-fun jukebox musical that features old favourites like ‘You’re the Voice’ and ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’, as well as more modern songs from artists like Adele and Sia. There’s a working on-stage bar, so your Dad might even get a pint poured for him by the cast!

Witness for the Prosecution - London County Hall

If you’re looking for a play instead of a musical, then Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution is a great choice. Staged at County Hall rather than a traditional theatre, it feels wonderfully immersive, and gives you the chance to solve one of Christie’s great mysteries. Watch as a young man on trial for murder finds that his wife - who is also his alibi! - has been called as a prosecution witness. See if your Dad can work out who’s telling the truth before the big reveal!
