Tony nominees Bryce Pinkham and Brad Oscar to join cast of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Off-Broadway
As the show heads into its third florid year Off-Broadway, Little Shop of Horrors have announced that Tony-nominated Broadway veterans Brad Oscar and Bryce Pinkham will join the cast later on this month at the Westside Theatre.
From 27 September, Oscar (Something Rotten!) joins the cast as Mushnik and, for a six-week limited run, Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) will play Dr. Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. Tiffany Renee Thompson (Pip’s Island) will be also stepping into the role of Crystal full-time from 20 September. Oscar, Pinkham, and Thompson join the company led by current stars Tony Award nominee Rob McClure (Mrs. Doubtfire) as Seymour, and Tony Award winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) as Audrey.
Completing the current cast of Little Shop of Horrors are Tom Alan Robbins as Mushnik (until 25 September), Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, Ari Groover as Ronnette, Cristina Raé as Crystal (until 18 September), Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon, Josh Daniel, Camryn Hampton, Michael Iannucci, Weston Chandler Long, Chelsea Turbin, and Teddy Yudain, Andrew Call will return to the role of Dr. Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. on 8 November, following a six week leave.
With a book and lyrics by Grammy and Academy Award winner Howard Ashman, and music by Tony and Academy Award winner Alan Menken, the 2020 Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama Desk Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Little Shop of Horrors is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer.
Mayer is joined on the creative team by choreographer Ellenore Scott, set designer Julian Crouch, lighting designer Bradley King, costume designer Tom Broecker, sound designer Jessica Paz, puppet designer Nicholas Mahon, and music supervisor, orchestrator & arranger Will Van Dyke.
