Tony Award winner John Cullum’s AN ACCIDENTAL STAR to stream online next month

Vineyard Theatre, Goodspeed Musicals and Irish Repertory Theatre, in association with Jeff Berger, are pleased to announce a celebration of Tony Award winner John Cullum in An Accidental Star, which will stream online from 8-22 April.

Conceived by Cullum and Jeff Berger, the 80-minute intimate evening of stories and songs covers Cullum’s illustrious career, told and sung by the 91-year-old two-time Tony Award winner. Directed by Lonny Price and Matt Cowart, An Accidental Star has a book by David Thompson, with musical supervision by Georgia Stitt, musical direction by Julie McBride, lighting by Megan Peti and costumes by Tracy Christensen.

An Accidental Star takes you behind the scenes with Broadway icon John Cullum, who captivates with songs from the Golden Age of the American Musical and tels never-before-heard stories of working with friends Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Goulet, Julie Andrews and more. The show gives a rare opportunity to revisit the making of some of Broadway's greatest shows, illuminated by funny, moving and fascinating encounters Cullum had along the way.
