The team at Tina – The Tina Turner Musical have announced plans for the show to reopen on 3 June 2021, with tickets on sale now.

It has been stated that any return is “subject to the government easing restrictions” but Tina is the latest in a line of shows revealing intentions to open in the summer, when it is hoped that social distancing measures will be eased to the extent that people will once again be allowed to gather indoors.

The show, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, follows the life of rock ‘n’ roll icon Tina Turner from her humble beginnings in Nutbush to her life as a global superstar.

Casting for the show’s return is yet to be announced.
