Theatre503 to stream panto free of charge to those most affected by Covid-19
Battersea fringe venue Theatre503 will stage a live-streamed, interactive pantomime next month, which will be free for schools, hospitals, care homes and low-income households.
A new Covid-secure adaptation of their 2019 pantomime, The Fairytale Revolution, will be broadcast from 17-23 December by Chocolate Films. It is written by Anna Spearpoint and Louise Beresford who also perform in the show along with Nicole Sawyerr, with direction by Emily Aboud.
Wandsworth Borough Council will support the production, allowing free tickets to be given out, along with a free schools showing on 17 December.
Theatre503 Artistic Director Lisa Spirling said: "We were determined to give the gift of Christmas to our incredible community and support some brilliant freelance creatives during our most challenging time."
"It means so much to be back in our space, making wonderful work and sharing it with an audience - remotely for now."
