Theatre Support Fund+ & Aqua Shard reunite for charity auction

800 exclusive golden paintbrushes, designed by theatre designer Soutra Gilmour and created by Theatre Support Fund+’s Chris Marcus, which made up Aqua Shard’s stunning 2021 Christmas tree, are to be offered up in a prize draw in support of Theatre Support Fund+ and alongside BBC One’s Big Night of Musicals.

Of the 800 paintbrushes, 50 have been signed by a plethora of stars from the theatre community including Hugh Bonneville, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Coleman, Stockard Channing, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Tamsin Greig, Dame Judi Dench, Alice Fearn, Sir Derek Jacobi, John Owen Jones, Robert Lindsay, Joanna Lumley, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Sir Ian McKellen, Mazz Murray, Catherine Tate, David Suchet, Zizi Strallen and Layton Williams with more still to be announced.

The charity are offering those who support the cause the chance to win one of the prizes by purchasing a £10 ticket on the Theatre Support Fund+ website. Over 50 prizes are on offer in the prize draw offered by the Theatre Support Fund+, including a magical Peter Pan afternoon tea for 2 on the 31st floor of the Shard, and all money raised will go to partner charities, Acting For Others and the Fleabag Support Fund.
