Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds announces cast for THE LEGEND OF ROBIN HOOD
Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds have unveiled the professional cast of this year’s pantomime The Legend of Robin Hood, which runs from 5 November 2022 – 15 January 2023.
Returning for his sixth year, Chris Clarkson will play the Pantomime Dame, Little Joan, alongside other returning cast members Craig Painting as the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Samuel Knight as Robin of Loxley.
Jessica Dennis (Boeing Boeing) joins the Theatre Royal team for the first time this year as Maid Marion, with Ewan Grant (recent Mountview graduate) as Rob The Baker’s Boy, Nerine Skinner (The Dots, Britain’s Got Talent) as Mavis The Minstrel and Major Maureen McTavish, and Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos (The Rhythmics, Southwark Playhouse) as Wilhelmina Scarlett.
The Legend of Robin Hood is a traditional family pantomime created by the same team who staged last year’s hit production, Cinderella – writer Chris Hannon, designer Dawn Allsopp, musical director Ward Baker and choreographer Jess Ellen.
The Legend of Robin Hood is produced by Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds and directed by the theatre’s own Artistic Director, Owen Calvert-Lyons.
