Theatre producer and beauty brand owner Amy Anzel has been announced as one of the 16 contestants taking part in the upcoming new series of BBC’s The Apprentice, which kicks off on 6 January at 9pm on BBC One.

Anzel appeared on the 2014 documentary TV series The Sound of the Musicals and produced the UK tour of Happy Days that year and The Life at Southwark Playhouse in 2016.

The entrepreneurs will battle it out for Lord Alan Sugar’s £250,000 investment in their business, with Lord Sugar, Karren Brady and previous winner Tim Campbell acting as judges this series.
