THE WIZ to be revived on Broadway in Spring 2024

Tony Award-winning musical The Wiz, adapted from L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz, will return to Broadway after the launch of a national tour. 

The production will launch in Autumn 2023 in Baltimore before touring the country and playing a limited engagement on Broadway in Spring 2024.

The reimagined revival of the production features direction by Schele Williams, a book by William F. Brown, a score by Charlie Smalls and others, choreography by Jaquel Knight, additional material by Amber Ruffin, and orchestrations, music supervision and arrangements by Joseph Joubert.
