The Sorcerer’s Apprentice delays digital run

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

The digital run of new musical The Sorcerer’s Apprentice has been delayed and will now be available to stream from 26 February-14 March.

The production was moved online after it was announced that in-person performances could not happen under current government restrictions. It was scheduled to have a digital start date this month but has since been pushed back further.

The gender-switched twist on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s famous poem is directed by Charlotte Westenra and stars Olivier Award nominee Nicola Blackman, Dawn Hope, Mary Moore, Marc Pickering, Yazdan Qafouri and Olivier Award winner David Thaxton, with Tom Bales, Ryan Pidgen, Vicki Lee Taylor, and Kayleigh Thadani.

The musical has a book by Ben Morales Frost with music by Richard Hough, with choreography by Steven Harris, design by Anna Kelsey, lighting by Clancy Flynn, sound by Ella Wahlstrom and musical direction by Alan Williams.
