The Showstoppers return to the West End with live series of shows

The Showstoppers

Hilarious improv group, The Showstoppers, have announced that they will perform a series of shows in the West End from next month.

The group will present a series of improvised musicals to live socially distanced audiences at the Garrick Theatre on select Mondays, starting on 16 November, then 30 November, 7 December, 11 January, 8 February and 22 February, with ticket prices starting at £15.

The company last appeared in the West End on the very day that lockdown started in March and will soon be back in action creating brand new musicals based on audience suggestions.

The cast, appearing on a rotating basis, includes: Jonathan Ainscough, Ruth Bratt, Matt Cavendish, Justin Brett, Dylan Emery, Pippa Evans, Susan Harrison, Ali James, Adam Meggido, Joshua Jackson, Sean McCann, Phillip Pellow, Lauren Shearing, Lucy Trodd and Heather Urquhart.

The creative team features creators and directors Adam Meggido and Dylan Emery, musical supervisor Duncan Walsh Atkins, movement director Ali James, set designer Simon Scullion, costume and prop designer Gabriella Slade, lighting designer Damian Robertson, sound designer Oscar Thompson and producers Showstopper Productions.

Don’t worry if you are unable to get to London to attend a show in person, as this month the Showstopper team are presenting four live streamed socially distanced improvised musicals online. Starting from this Friday, every Friday at 7.30pm for the rest of the month. You can purchase tickets for a certain performance or buy a season ticket for all four.
