THE SHOW MUST GO ON LIVE! AT THE PALACE THEATRE to be broadcast worldwide

The Show Must Go On Live

The Theatre Support Fund+ have today announced that their much-anticipated concert The Show Must Go On! Live at the Palace Theatre will also be streamed as a live broadcast on Sunday 6 June at 7.30pm.

The concert which will be filmed by National Theatre Live will be streamed for free on The Shows Must Go On! YouTube channel and then will be made available for theatre fans for the following seven days.

The world’s most iconic musicals have been assembled for the concert, which has been rescheduled several times. Taking part will be: TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, Dear Evan Hansen, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, SIX, Hamilton, The Book of Mormon, WICKED,  Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical,  & Juliet, Les Misérables, Disney’s The Lion King, The Prince of Egypt, Come From Away, The Phantom Of The Opera, Mary Poppins, MAMMA MIA!, Back to the Future The Musical and Pretty Woman The Musical.

The concert will be hosted by musical theatre legend Bonnie Langford and Hamilton and Aladdin favourite Trevor Dion Nicholas, with a host of household West End names taking part including Alice Fearn and John Owen Jones. A full cast list can be found on the website here.  

The Show Must Go On Live! will also open with a brand new song by writing duo Stiles & Drewe called ‘The Show Must Go On’ and will celebrate the theatre industry.

The Theatre Support Fund+ has so far raised over £900,000 for theatre charities from their merchandise and all profits from the concert will go to Acting for Others and Fleabag Support Fund. Audiences watching the broadcast will have the opportunity to donate via the website or by testing ‘THEATRE’ followed by the amount to 70460.
