THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT musical currently in development

Award-winning Netflix series, The Queen’s Gambit, is set to be adapted into a musical, it has been announced today.

Based on the Walter Tevis novel, Level Forward have recently acquired the theatrical stage rights to the piece, which follows an orphaned chess prodigy on her rise to the top of the chess world while struggling with drug and alcohol dependency.

Casting and creatives have yet to be announced.
