THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG to head out on fifth UK tour
The award-winning and world-renowned comedy The Play That Goes Wrong is set to embark on a new UK tour this April.
Created and written by Mischief Theatre founders Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields and Henry Lewis, the show is a parody of classic murder mysteries and follows the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society as they attempt to put on a show, with many unfortunate mishaps.
Starting its tour in Bath on 20 April, it will then visit Mold, Southend, Leicester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Plymouth, Bristol, Sheffield, Hull, Milton Keynes and Dartford. Further dates and casting are yet to be announced.
The director behind this tour is Sean Turner, with set design by Nigel Hook, costumes by Roberto Surace, sound by Andy Johnson and lighting by Ric Mountjoy.
The show, currently in its ninth year in the West End, has been nominated for countless awards, including winning a Olivier and WhatsOnStage award for Best New Comedy.
