THE MOUSETRAP to make Broadway premiere in 2023

The iconic Agatha Christie thriller and world’s longest running play, The Mousetrap, celebrates its 70th anniversary today and, to mark the occasion, has announced its upcoming 2023 Broadway debut.

The Mousetrap is the genre-defining murder mystery written by the world’s best-selling novelist of all time, Agatha Christie. The show has been performed over 28,915 times in London and has been seen by over 10 million people – a number that will no doubt now only grow as the production makes the journey across the pond.

Never before seen on a New York stage, the production will be a collaborative work of The Mousetrap’s UK producer, Adam Spiegel, and multiple Tony Award-winning American producer Kevin McCollum.

Tickets for the Broadway production will go on sale in the new year. Full booking and all production details will be announced in due course. For more information and to register for ticketing updates, please click here

A Special Commemorative Cartoon has been drawn by acclaimed writer and cartoonist for The Sunday Times and Private Eye, Nick Newman, marking today’s 70th anniversary of the London production:
