THE KING & I announces new tour for 2023

It has been announced that the critically acclaimed Lincoln Center production of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s The King and I will head out on a new tour next year. 

The previous tour of the production was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic but it will now return, opening at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 14 February 2023, before visiting Liverpool and Birmingham. 

Directed by Bartlett Sher, the show features famous songs such as ‘Whistle a Happy Tune’, ‘Getting to Know You’ and ‘Shall we Dance’ and features a company of over 50 performers.
