Swamp Motel to present first full-scale live show THE DROP in East London

The Drop

Immersive theatre company Swamp Motel will present their first full-scale live show, The Drop, in an abandoned East London location from 28 October-31 December, it has been announced.

In their most ambitious production to-date, the 45-minute “theatrical thriller” will be held at a newly created venue in a former shop front located at 55 Aldgate High Street, commissioned by the Lowry in Salford.

The Drop explores the history of a book called The Great Omar, which was on board the Titanic when it sank in 1912 and has not been recovered.

The show can host a maximum of four audience members at a time, with up to 20 sessions per day.

There are also plans to expand in early 2022 with an interactive film experience to bring the production to online audiences.
