Sunset Boulevard concert production at Alexandra Palace Theatre announces rescheduled date

The new concert production of Sunset Boulevard at Alexandra Palace Theatre has been rescheduled to Sunday 7 February 2021.

As previously announced, Mazz Murray will lead the cast as Norma Desmond, with Kayi Ushe as Joe Gillis, Zizi Strallen as Betty Schaefer (replacing the originally reported Laura Baldwin), Alex Bourne as Max von Mayerling, Sharif Afifi as Artie Green, Chris Howell as Manfred/Sheldrake and David Shaw-Parker as Cecil B. DeMille. 

Completing the company are Jack Harrison-Cooper, Jordan Lee Davies, Chloe Hart, Aimee Hodnett, Claudia Kariuki, Sejal Keshwala, Anelisa Lamola, Evie Rose Lane, Tom Partridge, Cameron Sharp & Bleu Woodward.

Directed by Alistair Knights and produced by Quick Fantastic, the concert will feature a 30-piece orchestra, conducted by Alex Parker with sound design by Paul Smith.

Sunset Boulevard has a book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
