It has been revealed that a brand new stage play based in the world of Stranger Things is in development.

Produced by Sonia Friedman, Stephen Daldry and Netflix and ALSO directed by Daldry, the show is the brainchild of Upside Down Pictures, a new company formed by Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer.

Other plans include a new live action series adaptation of Death Note, an original series from creators Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews (Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance), a series adaptation of Stephen King and Peter Straub‘s 1984 novel The Talisman, and a live-action Stranger Things spin-off series.
