Stephanie Dickson’s BARK to debut at Old Red Lion Theatre next month

Bark

Stephanie Dickson’s comedy-drama Bark will debut at The Old Rep Lion in Islington from 3-6 August 2021.

This female two-hander follows the story of 18-year old Helen (Sarah Somerville) and 62-year old Grace (Dickson), who meet in the TV room of a hospital and become unlikely but firm friends.

With Christmas coming up, Helen plans something special, only for the night to fall into ruin when she discovers something about her new friend that will change everything.

As they battle their illnesses and try to understand their place in the world, they face the ultimate question: What does it mean to live?

The piece is directed by Joseph Blake, with choreography by Jordan Mills and Bobbie Cadden, and lighting and sound by Daniel Peart & Gabriella Coomber.
