Staged reading of PYGMALION to be presented at The Actors' Church next month

Pygmalion cast

A staged reading of George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion will be performed at The Actors’ Church in Covent Garden, London on Monday 25 October 2021 at 7.30pm in aid of Acting for Others.

The cast includes Abbey Norman as Clara Eynsford-Hill, Sabina Franklyn (Fawlty Towers, Coronation Street) as Mrs Eynsford-Hill, Paddy Duff as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, Nancy Sullivan as Eliza Doolittle, Christopher Ettridge (Goodnight Sweetheart, EastEnders) as Colonel Pickering, Philip Bretherton (As Time Goes By) as Henry Higgins, Sherrie Hewson (Coronation Street, Benidorm) as Mrs Pearce, Brian Capron (Coronation Street) as Alfred Doolittle, Gay Soper (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) as Mrs Higgins and introducing Libby Simpkins as the parlour maid. All performers will appear subject to availability.

The production is produced by Paul Burton, with direction by Denise Silvey, and sound and lighting by Ron Knights.
