From Monday, Mike Kenny’s stage adaptation of The Railway Children will be shown on The Shows Must Go On Youtube channel.

Based on E Nesbit’s classic novel, the production was originally staged in a purpose-built theatre, recreating a railway station. It was directed by Damian Cruden and first produced by York Theatre Royal at the National Railway Museum in York.

Although the stream is free to watch, donations to Child Bereavement UK are encouraged.

The production will be available for 48 hours from Monday 21 December at 2pm.
