Southampton Mayflower Theatre announces reopening plans

Magic Goes Wrong

Mayflower Theatre have today announced their intentions to reopen from 25 June with a new season of shows. 

The theatre opens, subject to government guidelines with Draw from Within from acclaimed company, Rambert. This will be followed by a concert production of Hair the Musical on 27 June, directed by Arlene Phillips. 

A week of one-night shows follows featuring the best tribute artists on tour including The Bowie Experience, Believe – The Cher Songbook, The Simon and Garfunkel Story, A Beautiful Noise – A Tribute to Neil Diamond, Think Floyd and the Elvis Tribute Artist World Tour

Looking Good Dead, starring Eastenders icon Adam Woodyatt, plays at the Southampton venue from 6 -10 July, followed by the touring production of The Rocky Horror Show starring Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba, and the UK tour of Hairspray

The season also includes productions of Six, Summer Holiday, 9 to 5 the Musical, Blood Brothers, Riverdance, Ghost the Musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, My Best Friend’s Wedding and Magic Goes Wrong
