Songs For A New World suspends West End run

Due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and government restrictions, the upcoming West End production of Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World, staged by Lambert Jackson Productions, has been suspended for the time being. However, the production promises to return at another time.

It had been scheduled to run from early February but, because of the current lockdown, the decision has been made to suspend ticket sales whilst the production tries to find new dates.

The production, directed by Seimi Campbell, stars David Hunter, Rachel John, Rachel Tucker and Cedric Neal alongside Shem Omari James in a featured role, all of whom are reprising their roles from the Palladium run in September 2020.

The show’s producers, Jamie Lambert and Eliza Jackson, said: “We are temporarily suspending bookings until we know more about the situation theatres face in the coming months, but we remain dedicated to the show.”

Fingers crossed it will return soon, Besties!
