SIX will launch US National Tour in Chicago in 2022
It has been announced this evening that the international musical phenomenon SIX will launch the U.S. National Tour at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago from 29 March to 3 July 2022.
Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, in SIX the wives of Henry VIII take the mic to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse—remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st century girl power. The female cast is backed by an all-female band, the “Ladies in Waiting.”
Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, SIX is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set design by Emma Bailey, costumes by Gabriella Slade, lighting by Tim Deiling and sound by Paul Gatehouse. The score features orchestrations by Tom Curran, with musical supervision and vocal arrangements by Joe Beighton and U.S. musical supervision by Roberta Duchak.
Further dates for the SIX National Tour will be announced soon.
