Hold onto your hats, Besties! Six will become the first West End musical to return to UK stages this summer…but with a difference.

The show will run in collaboration with Utilita Live From The Drive In and will take place on open-air sites across the country, under new government ruling.

Audiences can watch the show from in and around their own vehicles, aided by big screens projecting around the playing arena. Ticketholders will be assigned a designated parking spot where they can set themselves up in their own socially distanced private area.

Each of the 12 UK venues can hold 300 vehicles with a maximum of 7 people permitted in each.

The current West End company will play Milton Keynes (4-9 August), Leeds (11-16 August), Teeside (18-23 August), Lincoln (25-27 August), Cheltenham (29-30 August), Newmarket (1-3 September) and Birmingham (5-10 September), with the U.K. tour cast performing in Liverpool (11-16 August), Bolton (18-23 August), Bristol (25-30 August), Edinburgh (1-6 September) and London-area Northway Village (8-12 September) – subject to change.

Producer Kenny Wax said: “With the industry in crisis, theatres struggling and some even going out of business, this drive-in event offers hope for the future, and equally importantly, jobs for about 50 of our company.”

Tickets go on general sale on 3 July at www.livenation.co.uk.
