Sir Antony Sher to be honoured in a series of programmes on BBC Four

Sir Antony Sher, who passed away last month , will be honoured in an evening of programmes on BBC Four on 16 January.

The RSC’s 2014 production of Henry IV Part I will be shown at 8pm, in which Sher played Falstaff, and also included in the line-up will be Antony Sher and Gregory Doran in conversation with Sue MacGregor (filmed in 2015) at 7pm and Mark Lawson Talks to Antony Sher, recorded in 2009, at 10.45pm.

Sher was an Honorary Associate Artist at the RSC and won Olivier Awards for his roles in the RSC’s Richard III, Stanley at the National Theatre, and Torch Song Trilogy in the West End.
