It has been announced that Shrek the Musical will be coming to Netflix UK on 1 April 2021.

Whilst the musical is already on the streaming platform in the US, this is the first time that it has been made available to those using the service in the UK and Ireland.

A high definition recording of the Tony Award-winning Broadway production was captured by RadicalMedia and released on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download in 2013.

The performance features the Original Broadway cast, which includes Brian D’Arcy James as Shrek, Sutton Foster as Princess Fiona, Daniel Breaker as Donkey and Christopher Sieber as Lord Farquaad.
