SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE VALLEY OF FEAR announces worldwide digital release
Blackeyed Theatre have announced a worldwide digital streaming release of Sherlock Holmes: The Valley of Fear, available from 7pm on 20 October to midnight on 22 January 2023.
Currently touring the UK, Nick Lane’s adaptation of one of the more little-known Holmes novels by Conan Doyle combines original music by Tristan Parkes and stylish theatricality and magical storytelling.
After delighting global audiences with the international tour of Sherlock Holmes and The Sign of Four, Blackeyed Theatre now offer an unforgettable experience of the mystery of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fourth and final Sherlock Holmes novel in this gripping world premiere.
The Valley of Fear follows an epic tale of intrigue stretching from 221b Baker Street to an ancient manor house, to the bleak Pennsylvanian Vermissa Valley.
After a mysterious, coded message is received, warning Holmes and Watson of imminent danger, Holmes follows a trail of bewildering clues to unearth a darker, wider web of corruption, a secret society and the sinister work of one Professor Moriarty.
The Valley of Fear sees Luke Barton (One Man, Two Guvnors, New Wolsey/Nuffield Theatres UK tour) and Joseph Derrington (Animal Farm, Royal & Derngate) reprise their critically-acclaimed roles as the iconic duo Holmes and Watson.
Joining them in the cast are Blake Kubena (Vikings, Amazon Prime/History Channel), Gavin Molloy (The Alchemist, Riverside Studios), and Alice Osmanksi (Some Mothers Do Ave Em, UK tour).
