The recipients of the 2020 Stage Debut Awards were announced in a virtual ceremony last night.

Hosted by award-winning & Juliet star, Miriam-Teak Lee, the awards were established to celebrate new performers and creatives who have made their performance debuts in the last 12 months. For each award category, there were two winners.

Winners included Shan Ako and Sam Tutty, who both picked up the Best Performer in a Musical award for their roles in Les Miserables and Dear Evan Hansen respectively. Tutty also received the Best West End Debut Award for the same performance.
