It has been announced that the world premiere of Sesame Street: The Musical will open Off-Broadway, running at Theatre Row from 8 September-27 November. 

Directed by Jonathan Rockefeller, the show will include favourite characters from Sesame Street in their puppet form onstage, along with special appearances from Broadway stars and other guests. Classic songs from the television show will make an appearance throughout the production, along with special new songs created for the musical.

Guests and additional creative staff will be announced at a later date.
