Self-isolation reduced to five days in new government ruling

The government have announced today that those who test positive for Covid-19 will now only have to isolate for five days under new rules in England, which will make a big difference to our industry and many others.

From Monday 10 January, those who have two negative lateral flow tests on days five and six of their isolation will be able to return to their normal life.

The UK Health Security Agency have stated that two-thirds of people are no longer infectious at day five but the lateral flow tests on days 5 and 6 will identify anyone who might still be infectious.
