Scots in the City concert featuring Scottish stars of stage and screen to be livestreamed

Scots in the City

It has been announced that an all-Scottish line-up of stars of stage and screen will perform in Scots in the City on Sunday 29 November, live streamed from London’s Phoenix Arts Club.

Produced by Kieran Brown and Shona White, the show will promote the very best of Scottish culture outside of the motherland, with a focus on musical theatre. Steven Cree, Danielle Fiamanya, James Gillan, Maggie Lynne, Greg Tomkins and Frances Mayli will join Brown and White on stage, socially distanced of course. Mary Mac will entertain the audience from her home in Tenerife during the interval, and ticket buyers will be sent an ingredients list for an exclusive Scots in the City Irn bru cocktail a few days before the event, so that they can enjoy a drink in Act Two.

It is hoped that the event will raise money and awareness for the new theatre industry mental health charity, Industry Minds. There will be the chance to donate via a Just Giving page and there will also be a quiz with fabulous prizes to be won.

The event will be livestreamed from 7-9pm of 29 November, finishing with a sing-a-long. Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased here.
