Royal Court Theatre announce cast for IS GOD IS by Aleshea Harris

Casting has been announced for Aleshea Harris’ Is God Is, which is due to run in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from 10 September to 23 October.

Vivienne Acheampong, Adelayo Adedayo, Ray Emmet Brown, Ernest Kingsley Jnr, Tamara Lawrence, Rudolphe Mdlongwa, Mark Monero and Cecilia Noble will star in the production, directed by Royal Court Associate Director Ola Ince. 

Is God Is tells the story of two women seeking justice and taking control of their own stories as they seek to avenge their mothers past. 

The creative team for this production includes set designer Chloe Lamford, costume designer Natalie Pryce, lighting designer Simisola Lucia Majekodumni, composer Renell Shaw, sound designer Max Perryment, and choreographer Jordan ‘JFunk’ Franklin.
