Rosie Day’s (THIS IS NOT A) HAPPY ROOM to play at Theatre Royal Windsor after London run

Katy Galloway Productions have announced that (This is not a) Happy Room, written by Rosie Day, will run at Theatre Royal Windsor following its premiere at King’s Head Theatre where it runs from 26 March-27 April.

The play will make its way to Windsor, running a total of six performances from 13-17 May.

Hannah Price directs Amanda Abbington as Esther, Rosie Day as Elle, Andrea Valls as Laura, and Jonny Weldon as Simon in the piece, with the company completed by Jazz Jenkins as Hayley, Tom Kanji as Charles, and Alison Liney as Agatha.

Meet the Hendersons, a happily dysfunctional family, reuniting for their dad’s third (or fourth?) wedding. Nobody expects the death of his bachelorhood to become an actual funeral… but it would be a waste of the buffet not to repurpose it, right?

(This is not a) Happy Room has sound by Adrienne Quartly, lighting by Rory Beaton, and set and costume design by Georgia de Grey.
