Tony nominee Rob McClure to play Seymour in Off Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

It has been announced that Broadway star Rob McClure (Mrs. Doubtfire) will take on the lead role of Seymour in the award-winning production of Little Shop of Horrors at Westside Theatre from 12 July, taking over from Skylar Astin.

McClure will star opposite original cast members Emmy Award winner Tammy Blanchard as Audrey and Tony Award-winner Christian Borle as Orin Scrivello, DDS.

The cast also features Stuart Zagnit as Mushnik, Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, Khalifa White as Ronnette, Cristina Raé as Chiffon, Khadija Sankoh as Crystal, and Eric Wright, Teddy Yudain, Josh Daniel, Michael Iannucci, Jana Djenne Jackson, and Chelsea Turbin. Evan Alexander Smith will play the role of Seymour from 5–10 July.

With a book and lyrics by Grammy and Academy Award winner Howard Ashman, and music by Tony and Academy Award winner Alan Menken, this production is directed by Michael Mayer, with choreography by Ellenore Scott, set design by Julian Crouch, lighting by Bradley King, costumes by Tom Broecker, sound by Jessica Paz, puppet design by Nicholas Mahon, and music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Will Van Dyke.
