Rising star to lead West End world premiere of new musical LADY CHATTERLEY’S LOVER

The cast has been announced for the upcoming musical version of Lady Chatterley’s Lover and amongst the experienced West End stars will be up-and-coming-talent, Georgia Lennon.

Touted as the next West End leading lady, Lennon has a voice which has been described as “not to be missed” and will be taking on the role of Lady Chatterley. The show will premiere at Shaftesbury Theatre for a limited run on 18 & 19 June 2021.

Starring alongside Lennon will be Michael Pickering (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Starlight Express) as the wonderfully sarcastic gamekeeper Mellors. Lennon and Pickering will be joined by Zoe Rogers (42nd Street) as Hilda, Jake Halsey-Jones (Hamilton) as Tommy, Sam Kipling (All-Male Pirates of Penzance) as war hero Sir Clifford and Emma Lindars (Groundhog Day, Made in Dagenham) as Mrs Bolton, Clifford’s nurse.

Director Sasha Regan said: “It’s exciting to be breathing new life into such a renowned and loved classic. Having worked alongside some of these wonderful singers before, I can’t wait to get this cast into rehearsals and start re-creating this passionate time-honoured story. This is an incredible platform to be able to nurture the hottest new talent and I’m particularly excited to have Georgia Lennon playing Lady Chatterley as I know she is a star in the making.”

The production features music by John Robinson, a book by Phil Willmott, set design by Andrew Exeter and costumes by Jasmine Swan.
