ANTS are a collective of six interdisciplinary artists, formed in the heart of a pandemic, to merge fantasy and reality to build worlds, bring people together and provoke thought.  Their latest piece, Triple written by Lee Lauren and directed by Lu Curtis, does just that.

Triple is a mix of monologues and duologues performed by Ayesha Griffiths and Katja Quist.  Its witty and blatant dialogue takes everyday situations and turns them into something else entirely!

Have you ever wondered…? How do you make love to a supermarket?   What does it feel like to talk to a plastic sex toy?  How do you escape a human centipede? What it would be like to be pregnant with the end of the world?

There’s really only one way to find out!  

Triple explores these stranger topics alongside more touching and topical issues such as how we should treat ourselves with less cruelty and what should we do when our escapism becomes more stressful than our real lives.

It is definitely thought provoking and a form of escapism in its own right.
