Fringe review: RUBBISH ROMEO AND JULIET, Rubbish Shakespeare Company - Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Three idiots perform Shakespeare's famous tragedy, using only a collection of tatty wigs, a floral dress, an airbed they found in the bins and some sausage rolls. Featuring clowning, slapstick, and clever, mischievous storytelling, the Rubbish Shakespeare Company are the perfect introduction to Shakespeare for kids of all ages!

If we had to choose one word to describe this production, it would be fantastic! These three guys work so hard (trust us, you should see how much they sweat!) to bring Shakespeare to audiences new and old, from kids to adults to families of all ages.

A perfect start to your day at the Fringe, we laughed so much at their ridiculous antics and their storytelling that we could have happily watched it all over again. It is such a genius way to bring the Bard to fresh audiences.

If you only choose one classical production at the Fringe this year, make it this one.

It would be Bard not to be impressed!
