Fringe review: DANNY BEARD AND THEIR BAND, Edinburgh Festival Fringe

The winner of Drag Race hits the Fringe as part of their debut solo tour. Join Danny as they take to the stage with their live band in a show which promises to be bigger, better and more camp than ever before.

Where do we start? What an AMAZING show they put on! The live band sound amazing, looking every bit the part in their cowboy hats and shiny silver outfits, setting a standard for the evening....and then Danny Beard appears in a fitted black sparkly dress with heels to match and groomed to perfection against a backdrop of rich red curtains.

As the first musical number begins and Danny begins to sing....well, that standard is raised ten fold....what a voice! Incredible vocals, a great rapport with the audience (you only insult someone if you love them, right?) and the most entertaining cabaret to ever take place in a giant purple cow!

The time just flies by, we are having so much fun! It is a fantastic show, full of laughs and sing alongs (we're all part of the family now, even the hetero's!) and it's obvious that Danny adores what they are doing. We wouldn't get a show like this if they didn't!

Besties, if you're still at the Fringe, go get your tickets for Danny Beard and Their Band right now, we promise you will not regret it!

A flamboyant, awesome talent.

***** Five stars
