RENT to return to Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre in August

It has been announced today that the Hope Mill Theatre’s acclaimed production of Rent will return to the venue from August 2021.

The production was cut short by the national lockdown before Christmas before moving online. It is directed by Luke Sheppard, with choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves, musical supervision by Katy Richardson, musical direction by Chris Poon, set and costume design by David Woodhead, lighting by Howard Hudson, and sound by Paul Gatehouse; with casting to be announced at a later date.

Jonathan Larson’s iconic musical will run for a limited season from 6 August - 19 September, with previous ticket holders being given priority access from 5pm today. The general on sale is Friday here.
